Have you ever felt completely drained by the end of the day, even though you didn’t do anything particularly strenuous? Maybe it feels like no matter how hard you try, you can’t get ahead—whether in your business, your personal life, or your wellness journey. I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to have the best of intentions, to hustle hard, and still feel like there’s an invisible force holding you back.

That invisible force is what I call energy leaks.

For years, I didn’t realize I was leaking energy. I thought exhaustion and burnout were just part of being an entrepreneur, a healer, a mom—essentially, part of being a human. It wasn’t until I started doing deeper inner work that I realized the problem wasn’t that I wasn’t trying hard enough. The problem was that I was bleeding energy into places I wasn’t even aware of.

SO, WHAT ARE ENERGY LEAKS?
Energy leaks are areas in your life—physical, emotional, mental, financial—where you are unintentionally losing energy. Think of them like a slow drip from a leaky faucet. At first, it seems like no big deal, but over time, that leak adds up, draining your resources, creativity, and sense of balance. It’s the things that deplete you, often without you even noticing, until one day you’re running on empty.
In my own journey, I realized I had energy leaks in several areas. Some were financial—like not having clear boundaries with clients around payments. Others were emotional—like carrying the weight of unresolved feelings. There were even mental energy leaks—repetitive, negative thought patterns that drained my focus.

THE COST OF ENERGY LEAKS
The thing about energy leaks is that they often go unnoticed until you’re completely depleted. They show up as burnout, frustration, feeling scattered, or like you’re constantly pushing a boulder uphill. If you’ve ever felt like you’re working harder but not getting anywhere, chances are you’ve got some energy leaks to address.

In this November blog series, I’m going to walk you through how to identify and seal these leaks—starting with recognizing the different areas where energy might be slipping away.

So, let’s get curious. Where are you losing energy in your life? This is your invitation to start paying attention, because the first step to healing an energy leak is recognizing it exists.
